Sheriff rules out homicide in death

GOODING (AP) - The Gooding County sheriff's office says a man whose body was found late last week didn't die of homicide.

Passing motorists found the body of 25-year-old Juan Carlos Perez-Garcia Friday morning about four miles southwest of Gooding. Perez-Garcia was last seen by family members on Thursday night, driving a green Chevrolet Blazer.

Authorities found the vehicle in Jerome, far from Perez-Garcia's body. But Sheriff Shaun Gough says investigators have ruled out homicide as a cause of the man's death. Officials are still waiting on a toxicology report.
