PELOSI: Scare tactics backfire

I just received the most disgusting questionnaire from Nancy Pelosi and the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee that one can imagine. Had I been tempted to vote Democratic this would have turned me off. In the interest of brevity I will only mention two of the most egregious questions.

"Do you oppose the decision by the House Republicans to end Medicare while protecting tens of millions of dollars in subsidies for Big Oil?" No decision to end Medicare for anyone has been offered as far as I know and the subsidies mentioned are under serious review by the Republicans with the intent of reducing or eliminating them.

"Do you think if more Americans knew about the Republican plans to end Medicare and privatize Social Security they would join the Democratic Party's effort to oppose these plans?" Again an effort to frighten seniors into siding with the Democrats by spouting totally untrue garbage. We need to modify both these plans to avoid bankruptcy but I have seen no proposals to end Medicare and a privately run Social Security would be better than the criminal job the Democratic Government has done by stealing the money from the Social Security Trust Fund and spending it.

False statements like these by the Democratic National Committee only reinforce my opinion that they have no honor or integrity and anything they say should be ignored.
