Justin William Gardner, 26
In loving memory of our beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Our Heavenly Father received Justin into his loving arms on Oct. 5, 2011. Justin was born on Mather Air Force Base, in California, on June 4, 1985. His family returned home to Rathdrum when Justin was 4 years old where he resided until his passing.
He attended Lakeland High School where he played football and ran track. He always enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Justin loved to camp, fish, ride motorcycles, and participated in paint ball and air soft games.
His love for outdoor activities sometimes got him into precarious situations that always kept life exciting.
Justin had one of the biggest hearts and an incredible capacity to love others unconditionally.
He had an unusual and sometimes outrageous sense of humor.
He would keep his family and friends in stitches by reciting lines from some of his favorite movies.
Justin's grandmother always said he should have been on the stage.
We all love Justin dearly and he will be greatly missed.
Justin is survived by his parents, Roger and Catherine (Pruitt) Gardner; sister Tiffany Hamilton (Blake Hamilton), brother Thomas, and sister Sharon.
He also is survived by grandparents Dennis and Carol Gardner and Patricia Pruitt, numerous uncles, aunts and cousins.
Justin was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bruce Pruitt. Justin struggled with juvenile diabetes since the age of three, but it never stopped him from doing what he loved. Please join the fight against juvenile diabetes.
A memorial service will be held at Grace Baptist Church, in Post Falls, located at 13329 W. Hayden Ave. (between Chase and McGuire Road) at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
