LAND: Just follow the money

| October 9, 2011 10:00 PM

McEuen Field, Camp Easton - what do they have in common? VALUABLE LAND! After the "New Park" has fallen because of cost and poor use what becomes of the property? THEY ALREADY KNOW!

The owners of the rest of downtown will slowly buy up a piece at a time because no one will care if the city gets rid of costly park land property that's costing tax money. They couldn't do that with the Legion baseball field or a popular boat launch, BUT to lower upkeep on a useless park. GO FOR IT! The same thing is what's driving the sale of Camp Easton. Valuable land makes for corrupt people with a greedy need. What's really odd about all this is you the taxpayers can't see what's going on. Your lack of remembering what once was or who started what makes it easy for politicians to bleed you blind. Sheep of the Lake City, take notice. These two things will take place. Today or maybe tomorrow but it will happen. VALUABLE LAND won't let the greedy alone.
