Pacific Coast Banking School names Bobbitt chairman of the board

David P. Bobbitt, chairman and chief executive officer of Community 1st Bank, is the new Chairman of the Board of Pacific Coast Banking School.

Bobbitt has served as a member of the board since 1995 and as vice chairman this past year. He is a 1981 graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School, the largest graduate-level banking school in the country.

Bobbitt is a career banker involved in the community, including serving on the Western Independent Bankers Board of Directors.

He currently serves as a board member and past president of the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce, vice chair and board member of the North Idaho Fair.

Bobbitt has more than 40 years in the banking industry beginning his career in 1969.
