Layton joins Tomlinson Sotheby's Realty Office

Heidi Layton has joined the Tomlinson Sotheby's International Realty Office.

Layton is co-owner of a local logging company and member of the Associated Logging Contractors and the Associated Loggers Exchange.

"Heidi is experienced and knowledgeable in timberland and bare land investment and acquisition," according to a press release.

Tomlinson Sotheby's International Realty is at 1400 Northwood Center Court.

Idaho group honored as small Chapter of the Year

The Idaho Chapter of the Council of Residential Specialists was named the small Chapter of the Year on Nov. 12 during the National Association of Realtors Conference and Expo in Anaheim, Calif.

The Chapter of the Year award is given annually to CRS chapters in three categories - small, medium and large - in recognition for outstanding efforts to advance the council's mission and further the organization's goals and objectives at the chapter level.

Chapter president is Gina Call. It added several area representatives to assist with outreach activities to connect with the more than 141 members throughout the state. It also implemented a membership recruitment plan, launched its first Lunch and Learn program and hosted a CRS Designation education program for potential members.
