Idaho Falls woman charged with trying to hit woman with her car

POCATELLO (AP) - A 19-year-old Idaho Falls woman faces several charges after prosecutors say she tried to strike another woman with her vehicle after an argument.

Camille Lankford was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of aggravated assault and possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.

Pocatello police responded to the report of an accident at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Sgt. Nathan Dekemper says an investigation found Lankford had been arguing with another woman when she jumped into her vehicle and tried to drive it into the other woman. She missed and struck the would-be victim's car, damaging it.
