PRESIDENT: Two men, little difference

| November 23, 2011 9:00 PM

There is very little difference between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. They both say the "right things" to the voters during election season, but, the reality is that a Romney administration would be so similar to an Obama administration you would hardly be able to tell them apart.

Mitt Romney would be an absolute disaster for this country, and America cannot afford another disastrous presidency. Romneycare is what Obamacare was based on.

Romney claims to be conservative, but, he is not. During Romney's time as governor he significantly raised state taxes. An advocate of small government he most definitely is not. Romney also believes in Global Warming, which has been proven to be bad science. He also supports Cap and Trade. Only one state in the entire country was worse at creating jobs while he was governor of Massachusetts. He was a very strong supporter of the Wall Street bailouts.

While he was governor of Massachusetts he appointed significantly more Democratic judges than Republican judges. He is soft on illegal immigration; in 2007 he said "my view is that those 12 million who've come here illegally should be given the opportunity to sign up and stay here." Romney is also a huge supporter of gun control laws.

He also flips back and forth regarding pro-life and pro-choice depending on his audience. Romney has already raised more money than all the other candidates combined for the 2012 campaign. The money is coming from Wall Street. The Wall Street Banks are already trying to buy the 2012 election for Romney. The Wall Street Banks have given Mitt Romney eight times as much money as they have given to all the rest of the candidates combined.

Unfortunately, we Americans have been asleep and have been sending incompetents, con-men and charlatans to Washington, D.C., for decades. Right now it looks like the Republican Party is going to nominate yet another establishment politician (Mitt Romney) in 2012. I hope America wakes up while there is still time.
