Joseph R. Seaman Jr., 49

Joseph R. Seaman Jr. died November, 18, 2011. He was born in Smithtown, N.Y., on Dec. 6, 1961.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Sr. and Beverly. Joe grew up in many states of the U.S. and after high school graduation he proudly served with the U.S. Marine Corp.

Joe is survived by his wife, Lora; two sons, Andrew of the U.S. Army and Jackson of the U.S. Navy; and three daughters, Madison, McKinna and Savannah.

Papa Joe," "P-Joe," "Big Daddy," impacted the lives of many young people in the community. His life lessons, lectures and leadership shaped his family and friends. His knowledge, wisdom and love for his family and community will live on forever.

A memorial service is set for 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26, 2011, at Lake City Community Church, 6000 Ramsey Road, Coeur d'Alene. A private committal service will take place at a later time.
