Eva Watson, 91

Eva Watson passed away Nov. 16, 2011, in Hayden. She was born in Denmark on Feb. 7, 1920.

She married Lawrence Watson of Carlin Bay in 1937 and he preceded her in death in 2005. They resided in Dalton Gardens for many years.

She is survived by her son, Jim Watson of Dalton Gardens; daughters Nancy Funke of Hayden and Donna Hilfiker of Salem, Ore.; and brother Vernon Nielsen of Spokane. She had 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers Helmer and Helge Neilsen; and sisters Esther Gillespie and Betty Claflin.

A memorial service for Eva and Lawrence will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at Yates Funeral Homes, Coeur d'Alene Chapel.
