RESPECT 'NO': Same standards for all
Many of us end up in odd situations. Thirty-three years ago I was on a motel floor in Bonners Ferry with a lesbian friend from church. Wearing only our birthday suits. In the missionary position. About to have carnal communications - when she said, "I can't stop you from doing this."
As a single, divorced male I responded, "Yes you can; you can just say no. It's your body, your mind, your choice."
She instantly cooled down, respected her right to change her mind and say no at the last possible moment. Lived up to values accepted at age 12 or 14. And I shall do no woman harm for that dark night upon which I was born (Coeur d'Alene Demolay pledge).
What ticks me off is living by a higher sexual standard than some of the male candidates running for the U.S. presidency.
