LOWERY: Just what Hayden needs

In the upcoming mayoral election in Hayden I would like those of you who have the opportunity to consider making a real leadership change in your community. In my opinion the choice is easy. One candidate has been mayor for the last 12 years and is seeking an additional term to make his tenure a total of 16 years as the top government official in the city of Hayden. I believe that is more than enough time in the top spot to effect any real change and get done what he wanted when he originally sought the position.

During this time the city of Hayden has been dubbed the most expensive and or difficult in Kootenai County to do business in. High fees, permits and some on city staff that are less then helpful to those trying to follow the rules and make a living in Hayden. Certainly not distinctions the business community is comfortable with. It is time to make a change.

I've known and worked with Nancy Lowery for over 14 years. I've found her to be one of the most straightforward and sincere people I've ever worked with. With Nancy you always know where you stand. Whether she agrees with you or not she'll give you a fair hearing, make a decision based on fact and what she believes is in the best interest of the people of Hayden. I urge you to do your homework before voting next week and consider a vote for Nancy Lowery.
