Alice Kaye Gallagher, 75

Alice Kaye Gallagher, beloved Mom, (Momma), Grandma, (Granny), counselor, mentor and devoted friend. Alice passed away Oct. 31, 2011. Upon her passing, she was surrounded by friends and family at her side.

She is survived by two sisters, seven children, 14 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Just after losing her beloved husband, Charles (Bud) in 1998, Alice began a new chapter in her life. Her new life was filled with traveling abroad, making some incredible friendships along the way and telling her story by writing in her journals on a daily basis.

Those that knew Alice, knew that she had a true gift of writing. Reading her journals is like reading a James A. Michner novel. Alice was adventurous, had a quiet self-confidence and loved having political conversations.

At her request, a private, family memorial will be held, celebrating her life.
