BRUNING: Paving way for the future
We have lived in Coeur d'Alene for 17 years and have enjoyed the Kroc Center, the Coeur d'Alene library, the Centennial Trail and the prospects of a remodeled McEuen Park. We have had the pleasure of knowing John Bruning for more than three years and have come to the conclusion that he is a very positive thinking man with no other political ambitions other than to work for the citizens of Coeur d'Alene and make our community better.
I have seen John work collaboratively with the community and listen to others before making tough decisions or offer options. When faced with a decision John is never one to "fly off the handle" or "make a rash decision." He always researches the subject, seeks input by others on both sides who are involved, makes sure he understands the issue fully, then will make a decision and stand by that decision based on that collected input. You may not agree with his decision but you can't argue that he has not done his homework. John does this every week as a city councilman for Coeur d'Alene. In our opinion John is the perfect choice for City Council because he truly does care about staff, citizens and helping assure the city does not become stagnant as we move forward to the future in a positive way.
