OLDTOWN - The wife of Mayor Lonnie Orr was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after colliding with a parked vehicle on Wednesday night.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the collision.

Beverly Orr was arrested at her home on Meadowdale Avenue, shortly after the 6:10 p.m. crash on East Valley Street.

Deputies located Beverly Orr by acting on a tip from an eyewitness to the crash, according to Bonner County Sheriff Daryl Wheeler.

Wheeler said the case remains under investigation and declined further comment.

She was booked into the Bonner County Jail in Sandpoint, but was later released on $500 bail. The criminal case against her remains sealed until she makes an initial appearance in court.
