Michele Keller (Kellogg), 50

Michele Keller (Kellogg) was born in Heppner, Ore., on Feb. 25, 1961, to Marilyn and Neil Kellogg.

Michele graduated from Pendleton High School in 1979. After high school she enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps for four years. She moved to Rathdrum in 1991 with her family. Michele loved to travel and has been many places all over the world. She had a passion for others and helping others with their travel. She had many interests and hobbies and a zest for life. Michele was a kind and compassionate woman, with many friends. Michele attended Real Life Ministries in Post Falls. She had a deep love for God, her family and her friends.

Michele passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on May 22, 2011.

Michele is survived by: Her four children, Patricia Estes, Elizabeth Brewer, Cliff Brewer, Sterling Brewer, all from Rathdrum; sister and brother, Mindy Kellogg of Pendleton, Ore., and Pat Kellogg of Meridian; two grandchildren, Jayde and Aysia Estes and son in-law James Estes of Rathdrum.

Michele is preceded in death by her mother and father, Marilyn and Neil Kellogg of Pendleton and grandparents Ellis and Betty Pettyjohn of Heppner.

Contributions can be made to Hospice of North Idaho.

Funeral arrangements have been made with English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 Spokane St., Post Falls. A reception/potluck is to follow immediately.
