McEUEN: A win for everyone

I appreciate the countless hours of dedicated work done by all those who participated in the planning and review of the McEuen Park Plan.

I appreciate the vision to provide a wide range of recreational opportunities for the whole community.

I appreciate the council's willingness to listen to all sides in a messy, necessary democracy.

I appreciate the respect you have shown for boaters and baseball fans by responding to concerns and developing plans for improved facilities. Personally, I will appreciate another option for getting my boat in the water without having to maneuver it through the center of town.

I appreciate the council's pledge to fund the improvements without levying any new taxes.

Your support of the McEuen Park Plan is a win-win decision for Coeur d'Alene and its future.
