Movers and Shakers May 26, 2011

Denise Lundy has opened Fortus Realty at 1423 N. Government Way.

She worked as a Realtor with Lakeshore Realty for nine years, and referred to her time there as a great career. She decided it was time to venture out on her own.

"I'm really excited about the opportunity," she said.

Lundy has been involved in real estate sales since 2002. She has worked in real estate appraisal and as a project coordinator for custom-home building in Spokane. She has earned her GRI designation, has been involved with the Association of Realtors and Multiple Listing Service board for several years and is an Honor Society and Circle of Excellence recipient.

She is proud that she built her business on referrals and repeat clientele.

With Fortus Realty, Lundy will continue to offer service in all facets of real estate.

She said the pulse of the housing market is strong and sales are rising.

"I've enjoyed a great spring," she said.
