Bible prophecies program begins Wednesday

HAYDEN - A program on Bible prophecies will be presented this week at Hayden Lake Seventh-day Adventist Church, 12940 North Government Way.

From May 25-28, Pastor John Bradshaw of "It Is Written Television" will use the Bible to explore prophecies.

"Babylon Rising will look at current world events and answer the questions people are wrestling with today by examining ancient prophecies that have long been neglected," said Pastor Bradshaw of the series.

"This series will show that Scripture makes sense of today's troubled world, and that events as diverse as the tsunami in Japan, the foreclosure crisis, and tornadoes in the American South can be best understood in the context of Bible prophecy," according to a press release.

This event will not only look at the issues in the world today - in the religious, political, social and environmental spheres - but it will reveal the cosmic connection between a reeling planet and a rising "Babylon."

Each one-hour program will include interactive elements through Facebook and Twitter. It will be broadcast live from Las Vegas, but it will also be hosted locally in Hayden.

Babylon Rising begins Wednesday at 6:45 p.m.
