McEUEN: Killebrew played Legion ball

Investigative reporting run-amunk, Hay what! Harmon Killebrew got his start in baseball in Payette, Idaho, playing American Legion Baseball. Yeah, that's right, he was one of those "pesky kids" that played baseball. Probably played in tournaments against the Legion Loggers down at the City Park even! Oh well, on to other things!

You told us in Wednesday's paper who won the elections but you failed to headline how many of the registered voters actually voted. Did your math teacher jump over percentages or maybe took sick days off to visit the gaming areas maybe huh? What we would like to know is if the results are really a mandate of the people or does 15% or lower really fall under the heading of mandate? OR have the sheep of Kootenai County dictated the election result again?
