CDA: Powers is an ideal choice

Stephanie Powers is the clear winner in terms of experience for candidates for school board of trustees zone #2. She has had many years of working with non-profit organizations including EXCEL, The Kroc Center campaign, and years of PTA presidency and experience. Her many years of corporate knowledge and experience will continue to benefit the community as she works as a member of the school board.

Ms. Powers is a firm supporter of District 271 schools of choice. In this time of declining enrollment as the population in North Idaho ebbs, these programs have helped keep our schools solvent. One size fits all education does not work. Our choice schools have invigorated our learners, and help keep the system alive. This year 260 students from out of district are attending CDA schools, bringing in over 1.1 MILLION dollars of revenue into the system we would otherwise not have. Most of these students attend Schools of Choice.

Unfortunately Tom Hamilton does not share Ms. Powers' support of this successful program. He would eliminate any choice parents, students, or voters have unless they line up with his personal political agenda. Help keep our school system solvent. Support Schools of Choice.
