Hawks' Bayley qualifies for state in golf
Lakeland freshman Derek Bayley fired a 77 to claim boys medalist honors on Tuesday at the 4A Region 1 golf tournament at sun-soaked Twin Lakes Village Golf Course.
The Moscow boys and girls each qualified their teams for state, and Bayley was the only player not from Moscow to secure one of the state berths awarded to the three lowest scores.
