POWERS: Right choice for Zone 2

I am writing this letter in support of Stephanie Powers for Coeur d'Alene School District Board Trustee Zone 2. Stephanie has more than 20 years of experience in dealing with both business and education. She has had the opportunity to observe the interworkings of our education system from the grassroots to higher education.

Through Stephanie's leadership in such organizations as the PTAs for Hayden Meadows Elementary, Canfield Middle School and Coeur d'Alene High School to her involvement with the University of Idaho, she has the vast knowledge and experience to help this school district navigate the ever-changing educational landscape. I also had the opportunity to participate on the EXCEL Foundation Board with Stephanie where she demonstrated an outstanding ability to lead and grow a program that is of tremendous benefit to the educators and students of the district.

Stephanie will continue to bring an excellent understanding of the best educational options available for the student. She will also be a strong voice for fiscal responsibility and organizational efficiency. These are all of these qualities that I believe will make Stephanie the best candidate for the position of Coeur d'Alene School District Board Trustee Zone 2.
