Poll: Little faith in fair property taxes

Readers of The Press online aren't optimistic that their tax woes will convince local government to manage their budgets responsibly.

Asked, "As budgeting begins, how do you think local taxing entities will treat property taxpayers?", here's how voters at cdapress.com responded:

• They’ll increase property taxes more than they should, 743 votes

• They’ll increase property taxes less than they should, 84 votes

• They’ll handle it just rightk, 109 votes
