LETTER: Anything but conservative

I have a brief question about Ray Fink's letter. He says that his family has served in the military all the way back to George Washington's Army and they served in all major conflicts. So I want to know why Mr. Fink hates his fellow American citizens whose rights he was supposed to be defending when he "put on a uniform" to go to Vietnam? Why bother serving at all if you have no love for your fellow human?

If he thinks he is a "conservative" by attacking everyone from the president of the United States on down to local writers with whom he disagrees, I don't think so. He might have some more honorable members of his ancestry rolling in their graves just because the fellow refuses to be gracious and forgiving of others for having the right to think what they like. Fink is nothing more than a bully, as there is nothing "conservative" about that.
