McEUEN: Bless Ron, recall the rest of 'em

As we sat on the deck of the Ipanema Grill not too long ago, I enjoyed looking out over McEuen Field. It was beautiful and it was peaceful and my stress dissipated. We saw a beautiful green expanse, we saw people playing with their children, we saw people walking and enjoying the beauty and PEACE of McEuen Field.

I am a native of Coeur d'Alene as is my father (going back 92 years) and I am outraged at the ramrodding of this whole "let's change everything about McEuen Field" thing, not to mention the outrageous price of it all. If we keep trying to please the big city outsiders, we will be another Lake Tahoe with the crowds, traffic, taxes and the whole mess.

We absolutely support a recall of the mayor and city council members, except of course Mr. Edinger who was the sole holdout. Bless his heart.
