CHINA: Footprint in Idaho unwise
I just read this little tidbit on the website freepressers.com, and since this is the first I have heard this subject, I can't furnish anything to substantiate it. I doubt if it just appeared out of thin air, however. The article states in effect that "China wants to construct a 50-square-mile self-sustaining city just south of Boise." The article continues, stating that this is part of China's strategy to extend their economic domination by placing "special economic zones" all across the United States.
The article further states that China National Machinery Industry Corp. (Sinomach for short) wants to purchase land just south of the Boise Airport to establish what they call "a technology zone," which ultimately covers approximately 50 square miles.
Sinomach is primarily owned by the Chinese Communist Party, so the 30,000-acre city would belong to the Chinese Government.
The article goes on to say that according to The Idaho Statesman, the idea would be to build a self-contained city with all services included. It would be modeled after "special economic zones" that currently exist in China.
Not citing any source for their information, the website went on to say that the Idaho government was eager to see this progress. I knew we probably were being governed by less than mental giants, but if this is true, we really are in trouble.
