Chadderdon-Olsen is new manager at Beachouse

Hagadone Hospitality has named Jan Chadderdon-Olsen as manager of Beachouse Restaurant on Lake Coeur d'Alene. Her responsibilities include the outdoor deck, which is open daily for lunch and dinner.

"I'm excited about this role," she said. "We've added a special lunch menu, music on weekends, happy hour daily from 2-6 p.m. and a barbecue on the deck."

Chadderdon-Olsen was previously front services manager for The Coeur d'Alene Resort. She is the daughter of Keith and Marge Chadderdon, founders of Great Floors. Marge Chadderdon is also Idaho state representative, District 4.

"Jan is a Coeur d'Alene gal through and through," said John Little, director of food and beverage for The Coeur d'Alene Resort. "We're fortunate to have someone of her energy and personality help continue the Beachouse tradition as a top dining destination."

Chadderdon-Olsen has been married 27 years to Brian Olsen, who works for American Express. They have four daughters, including one University of Idaho graduate and three still attending UI. The family enjoys travel, golf and boating. She is active as a volunteer with 3Cs, Kootenai County Republican Women and the Wishing Star Foundation.

"I'm a foodie. I love good food," she said. "I really like good service. My vision is to create an atmosphere of great food and a fun time, every time. At the Beachouse, I want people to feel like they're walking into my house, my party."
