Gail Annette Pfaff, 57

Gail Annette Pfaff, 57, passed away June 20, 2011, in Rathdrum. She was born March 11, 1954, in Riverside, Calif., received her master's degree in medicine and was active in the Riverside Rancheros.

Gail moved to Rathdrum in 1991, and specialized in respiratory therapy in the pediatric unit at Sacred Heart Children's Center, taught nursing and respiratory care at Spokane Community College, and after retiring from medicine, started her own piloting company.

She had a love for the outdoors, enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. She loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and close friends.

Gail is survived by son Dustin Pfaff and Ashley Fornof; daughter, LeAnne and Josh Puyleart; brother, Harry L. (Edith) Stevens; mother, Bernardine Stevens; grandchildren, Caden, Tayelynn and LaKiley; and niece and nephew, Harry E. and Jennifer. Her close friends, Dave, Rosanne, Tom, Russ, Nancy, Bernard, Jeff, Rita and Elly also survive.

She was preceded in death by her father Harry G. Stevens; husband, John Allsup and Leo Pfaff.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 25, 2011, at the Yates Funeral Home Hayden Chapel.

Yates Funeral Home in Coeur d'Alene has been entrusted with the care of final arrangements.
