Daniel Karabedian, 69

Daniel "Danny" Haig Karabedian, 69, of Post Falls, passed away at Kootenai Medical Center in Coeur d'Alene, on Friday, June 10, 2011.

Danny was born in Queens, N.Y., on August 14, 1941, to Bagdasar and Freida (Emerian) Karabedian. He and his family moved to Vallejo, Calif., where he grew up. While living in the Napa Valley he met the love of his life and best friend. They vacationed in Coeur d'Alene and enjoyed the area so much that they moved here in 1996. Danny and Jean enjoyed 14 wonderful years together.

He was a good businessman. While living in Napa, he owned and operated a music and video store called "Dan's Piano & Video." Danny loved music; he sang and played the guitar for a 50s Band.

He is survived by Jean Flock, of Coeur d'Alene; son Daniel Scott Karabedian of California; and best friend, Randy Flock of Snohomish, Wash.

Danny is preceded in death by his brother Vaughn Karabedian.

At Danny's request no services will be held. English Funeral Chapel, Coeur d'Alene, has been entrusted with the final arrangements.

He was a wonderful man. There are not enough words to express just how great he was and how deeply he will be missed.
