TAILS: Old event alive and barking

My name is Sydne Watson (formerly Sydne Spink) and I am the creator of "AJ's Tails & Trails 5K Dog Walk."

The information contained in the story about Kootenai Humane Society's event "Roaming with Rover," stating that their event "was formerly called AJ's Tails & Trails," suggests that the event I created no longer exists and has been replaced. This letter is a result of several responses I have received from friends, family and acquaintances who greatly support my organization, AJ's Foundation, AJ's Tails & Trails.

"Roaming with Rover" is a new event created by Kootenai Humane Society, and is not a "replacement" for AJ's Tails & Trails, as the article indicates.

Our event, AJ's Tails & Trails 5K Dog Walk, is scheduled to take place in Coeur d'Alene on Sunday, Oct. 9.
