WEATHER: It's not bible science

| June 12, 2011 10:00 PM

I seem to recall a year or two ago that your readers were complaining about Cliff Harris and his never-ending proselytizing re: climate change. I heard somewhere that "you can have religion without science, and you can have science without religion, but you can't have science and religion." Obviously Mr. Harris has his very sincere but one-sided leanings according to his religious convictions. That's fine, but can he please, please, please just stick to the weather forecast and leave science to the scientists who just may know more than him in that area and religion to the religion pages? Yes, there are conflicting scientific opinions on climate change and most of us can make up our own minds, thank you very much. Enough already!
