Jack Duane Olson, 83

Jack Duane Olson, 83, of Yakima, Wash., passed away June 6, 2011, in Yakima. He was born Sept. 16, 1927, in Topeka, Kan.

Jack had lived in the Yakima area for the past 3 1/2 years, moving here from Coeur d’Alene. He had served in the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his sons, Erick Olson of Hayden Lake and Bruce and wife Demaris Olson of Spokane; daughter Linda and husband Joe James of Yakima; sister JoAnn and husband Bill Beaufait of Yuma, Ariz.; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Inurnment graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011, at Fairmont Cemetery, Spokane.

Memorials may be made to a charity of your choice.
