KIDS: Risk is part of life

Play structure concerns - give me a break. Where would the banning of playground equipment end? I remember flying out of swings doing backflips, playing human frogger and jumping off the top of monkey bars.
Let's let kids be kids. You would have to eliminate the entire playground to make it completely safe. Maybe we can just let kids sit at home on the couch in a bubble playing video games with a helmet on eating Cheetos and continue to suffer from obesity and diabetes at an alarming rate.
Kids can and will make anything more dangerous - AKA fun. We did it but now our kids can't. Give me a break.
