Richard Lee Lalk, 42

Richard Lalk passed away July 25, 2011, in Post Falls. He was born Sept. 30, 1968, to Clyde F. Lalk and Nancy Thompson in Sacramento, Calif.

He moved to Post Falls about 30 years ago. He was a drywall finisher by trade, but was a man who could do anything he set his mind to. Richard enjoyed working out at the Kroc Center, riding his bicycle and getting firewood. He lived his life by the motto "pay it forward." Richard was loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Judyne; sons Tyler and Andrew at home; his father; mother; sister Michelle and brother Jon.

Viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2011, and from 9 a.m. 7 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2011, at English Funeral Chapel, 1700 N. Spokane St., Post Falls. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011, also at English Funeral Chapel, Post Falls, with a reception to follow at the chapel's reception room.
