STATUE: It's all about freedom

I couldn't have said it any better. Devin Heilman's opinion on the Ganesha statue in the July 14 Press was right on and to the point. The good people of Coeur d'Alene need to realize that America is based on freedom of religion. You don't have to like it but you do have to allow it.

It's the differences we have as a people that make our country such a great place to live. I for one would not want to change that fact. Don't allow narrow minds to remove the statue.
