IRONMAN: Kudos to volunteer spirit

We wanted to express our sincere gratitude for the fine people of Coeur d'Alene. While running the marathon portion of Ironman, both of us were struck by the kindness and respect shown by the volunteers. Particularly (we think near the hockey aid station) the youth spoke to us with such politeness and respect, as did a short blonde woman.

We are so grateful for their kindness.
