CITY: Ignoring the hard times

| July 22, 2011 10:00 PM

So the city wants. It wants this, that, and the other thing.

But it won't raise taxes to get what it wants. What's it going to do, mug people on the street? Hit up the Money Fairy? What?

Well, I want a house, a job with benefits and to be the same size I was in high school. Guess what, THAT'S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN EITHER!

I suggest the city, especially the mayor, remember that these are hard times. They should be thankful they have JOBS. Not go around expecting to get more just ‘cause they want it.

But if they can't do/live without whatever it is they want, I suggest they hit up the mayor for the money. She seems to think it grows on trees. I'm sure she can afford to foot the bill for this BS. With what she's getting for stealing a park and boat launch, she should be able to afford anything!

Just be sure to leave the hard-working, tax-paying, and "fed up with all this BS" citizens of Coeur d'Alene out of it. We've had enough.
