Hayden Country Guest Home assisted living facility set to open
Dawn Hayden will soon be opening Hayden Country Guest Home, an assisted living facility, at 10585 N. Reed Road.
An open house is scheduled 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 20.
When the home opens, it will have six full-time staff and be able to serve 14 residents, caring for those from the elderly to those with Alzheimer's and dementia.
Hayden operated two assisted living facilities in the area before selling both and then retiring in 2007. She decided to return to the field she enjoys.
"I needed my old people fix," she said. "I love being with them. I love all their own stories and their wisdom."
