CARTOON: Leave Catholics alone

This is to voice my objection to the "cartoon" that ran July 3. Why on Earth would you perpetuate this endless attack on the Catholic Church? Does the fact that the Pope has communication in the form of a tweet warrant such ridicule?

Who is this moron, judge from the KC Star newspaper and is this person deserving of having this cartoon carried here in The Press, so far away from KC? I don't think so. It shouldn't have even run in the Star. It would seem that this person has an ax to grind against the Catholic Church. Would anyone dare do this sort of thing against the head of the Muslims? People came to the defense of the statue downtown when it was displayed. How about showing some of those same feelings toward other religions and symbols?

It's time to get off the backs of Catholics, and Christians in general and find some other target for their distorted idea of entertainment.
