FIREWORKS: Gone but not forgotten

| July 8, 2011 10:00 PM

Should our collection of blackened, spent fireworks be taken (as evidence) to the police station or fire station? Perhaps both.

Very likely we join many other citizens here in Post Falls, especially home-bound seniors, attempting to calm their animals and mentally hold up the (literally!) shaking walls of their home... the home which miraculously remains intact from fire, as burning debris lands not only in the yard and driveway but only inches from the front door!

I'm certain the last person to read this plea for a "solution" will be the totally inconsiderate neighbor who got their thrills and jollies by competing with another neighbor to produce the LOUDEST OF EAR-WRECKING NOISE!
