UNIONS: Standing up for workers

Your response that the firefighters were selfish, according to the Coeur d'Alene Press - really, you, the Hagadone Republican propaganda paper find people standing up for their union right, to be sniveling? The reason right to work states like Idaho have 14 percent unemployment is because of Republicans stripping collective bargaining, taking job protections away and sending jobs overseas. Now that Idaho has done that, good luck getting good smart teachers to come here to work. Idaho is close to the bottom in education, now they will be last in the nation.

I am a union member, and yes in a closed shop in Idaho. I stand with the firefighters and teachers of Idaho, and encourage everyone, union or not, to participate in the upcoming GENERAL STRIKE nationwide to put an end to taking collective bargaining away. Prove me wrong Coeur d'Alene Press and print this letter, or won't the powers to be let you exercise your right to free press?
