GAS: We've got it good in Idaho
Where on Earth does Linda Bonuccelli get the idea that "the rest of Americans enjoy 2-3 times more in savings" on gasoline prices than those of us living in the Idaho panhandle? What verifiable source is she quoting?
I can only speak with authority about three or four other states, but I can tell you, they do NOT pay significantly less. My son and daughter who live in California, would LOVE to pay our prices. We live in Utopia. I would suggest Ms. Bonuccelli get her "2-3 times savings" (whatever that nebulous statement means) elsewhere or quit speculating about a sinister "cabal" here.
P.S. I do not now nor have I ever owned a gas station, but I believe that rather than a cabal, it might more appropriately be called "competition" which has never to my knowledge, been considered highly "un-American" as described by Ms. Bonuccelli.
