Prom dress sale Feb. 26

COEUR d'ALENE - High school girls will have a chance to pick up a prom dress and check out jewelry, hair styles and photo packages at a fundraiser next month for the Coeur d'Alene High School French class.

Girls who wish to sell a dress at the Feb. 26 event can pay $5, name their price and turn it in to organizers.

Proceeds will go to French students who will be traveling to France in June. About 35 are expected on the nearly two-week trip, and each needs to raise about $3,100.

The fundraiser will be 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the commons area.

Along with the dresses for sale, there will be representatives with hair salons, jewelry stores and Quicksilver Photography to help students prepare for their prom.
