SPOKANE — The host Ferris Saxons picked up five wins by pin to defeat the Lake City Timberwolves 45-30 in a nonleague wrestling dual Wednesday.

Justis Ballison (160 pounds), Jared Lambert (135) and Dakota Schnall (145) had pins for Lake City, which travels to the Coeur d’Alene High Invitational on Friday at Elmer Jordan Court.

“Both Justin and Billy (Potts) won some really good matches,” Lake City coach Corey Owen said. “We just didn’t wrestle well as a team and the score shows it. We’ll go back and put some work in and get better for the next time.”
