George Walter Rounsville, 73

George Walter Rounsville passed away Jan. 21, 2011, in Rathdrum. He was born April 15, 1937, to Harry and Lillian Rounsville.

George loved the outdoors, whether it was gardening, puttering around in the yard, camping, fishing or huckleberry picking. He also really enjoyed going on what he and his siblings called their geriatric road trips.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 24 years, Bonnie Rounsville; nine brothers and two sisters.

George is survived by his children, Linda Rounsville, Jeff Rounsville, Ken Rounsville and Sandy Wynn; his siblings, Lillian Pugh, Betty Gibson, LaVerna Lee, Dale Rounsville and Doris Wells; four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 29, 2011, at Yates Funeral Home, Coeur d'Alene Chapel, 744 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.
