Trustee sought for Kootenai Bridge Academy

Kootenai Bridge Academy, a Coeur d'Alene-based public virtual charter school, is looking for a trustee to round out its five-member school board.

The school opened in September 2010 and is located at 606 River Ave., near the North Idaho College campus.

"We would really like to have someone from the business community as a board member, although we'll entertain just about anyone," said board chair Bruce Noble.

Regular school board meetings are held monthly on the first Tuesday at 5 p.m. at the school.

Noble estimated trustees devote an average three hours per month working on school board related activities.
