COEUR d'ALENE - Andrew Baracco hit three 3-pointers in the first four minutes for the host Vikings, who jumped out to a 23-6 lead after one quarter at Elmer Jordan Court.

Devon Loy added 13 points for Coeur d'Alene (10-5), which had five players in double figures.

"Yesterday (in Yakima) we didn't play with a lot of energy," Coeur d'Alene coach Kent Leiss said. "It was nice that we came out and played with energy on our home court."

Hunter Arno scored a game-high 17 points for Lakeland (2-12), which plays host to Timberlake tonight at 7.

Coeur d'Alene is home vs. Moscow on Friday.

SANDPOINT - Senior Jenna Lewis scored 26 points on eight 3-pointers - six in the first half - as the fifth-ranked (5A) Timberwolves defeated the 4A Bulldogs (7-10) at Les Rogers Court.

Sydney Butler had 13 points, six rebounds and eight assists for Lake City (15-3), which travels to Lewiston on Saturday.

Kaytrin Thaut and Kendra Buell grabbed six rebounds each for St. Maries (3-10, 1-3), which plays host to the Lake City junior varsity in a game rescheduled from tonight to Friday at 6:30 p.m.

HARRISON FLATS - Taylor Pasley scored 10 points to lead the Miners past the Warriors in a North Star League game.

"We were playing right with them at the half," Kootenai coach Mike LaFountaine said. "We came out in the third quarter and it was like we didn't come out prepared. That third quarter hurt us."

Courtney Jennings scored seven points for Wallace (8-7, 4-1 NSL), which shot 18 of 36 from the foul line.

Ana Parker scored nine points for Kootenai (0-9, 0-4), which shot 13 of 29 from the foul line.

Wallace hosts Mullan on Friday and Kootenai travels to St. Maries on Monday.

"For the first time in a couple of weeks, we played well as a team," Lakeside coach Ron Miller said. "When we had some open shots, we took them and moved the ball well. It was a real team win tonight."

Joelle Miller scored 13 points for Lakeside (10-4), which hosts the Post Falls JV tonight.

Kasey Adair scored a game-high 17 for Gar-Pal.
