YAKIMA, Wash. - Caelyn Orlandi scored 15 points and Kendalyn Brainard added 13 in her first significant minutes since returning from injury and the Coeur d'Alene Vikings handed Prosser its first loss of the year, 43-42 on Monday at the Sun Dome Showdown.

The lead changed hands back and forth for the last two minutes, but Coeur d'Alene played great defense when it counted, grabbing a rebound on Prosser's last shot in the waning seconds to secure the nonleague win.

"We did what we needed to do to win," Coeur d'Alene coach Dale Poffenroth said, "and Prosser is no slouch team."

Prosser is ranked No. 1 in the Washington 2A coaches poll.
