Linda Lee Long, 66

Linda Lee Long, 66, passed away at her home in Worley on Jan. 2, 2011.

Linda was born in Seattle, Wash., on April 3, 1944, to Clyde and Betty Jean (Ogden) Kinney. Growing up in Seattle, she enjoyed swimming at Greenlake, and worked at "Dicks" burgers.

Linda married George Ernest "Ernie" Long on May 25, 1969, in Seattle after the two were introduced by a mutual friend.

Linda was a homemaker, who enjoyed experimenting in the kitchen, gardening and crafting. She also enjoyed clam digging, crabbing and wildlife. She was known to collect driftwood, seashells, rocks and to feed wild animals, including moose.

She is survived by her husband: George "Ernie" Long; one son: Ed (Barb Wagoner) Long; five daughters: Darla (Scott) Tester and their children, Randy, Lacey, and Coldiron "Roscoe," Debbie (Mike) McCown, and their children, Kyle, Joshua, Jacob and Nathan, Angel Long and her children, Eric, Adam and Kristopher, Teri Morrison and her children, Dustin, Ryan, Jason "Buster" and Trace, and Debby (Duane) Petty and their children, Danny and Samantha; 10 great-grandchildren: Dakota, Raydyn, Corban, Kendra, Jordan, Kayden, Chade, Landyn, Rylee and Chloee; her sisters, of which she was the middle: Elsie Kinney and Sue Hoppe; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents: Clyde and Betty Jean; daughter Tammy Long (3 months) and granddaughter Erika.

Linda was a very loving and giving person, who found beauty in all things. With Linda, family came first. She will be truly missed by those who knew her.
